Friends of PACT’s main purpose is to increase the public’s awareness of
the great work of PACT, to recruit voluntary workers and to raise funds
to support the activities of PACT. This is done through annual
subscriptions and fund raising initiatives of Friends through a broad
range of enjoyable activities and sponsored events.
Friends of PACT is run by the Fundraising Committee, which is manned by
volunteers and chaired by Yvette Gayford, Chief Executive of
PACT. The Committee meets regularly and is directly accountable
to the Executive Committee of PACT.
All Friends would, on payment of the annual subscription, be entitled to receive:
- regular newsletters
- invitation to the AGM to meet the staff and hear all about the Charity’s latest developments
- invites to Friend’s social events
- the opportunity to actively play a part in the furtherance of PACT’s charitable work
PACT is highly cost effective. Every contribution has a very direct,
immediate and visible effect on improving the quality of life of those
it helps. All monies given or raised by Friends will be earmarked and
exclusively applied in supporting and furthering the services provided
by PACT.
PACT would welcome your application to become a friend and making a
real difference in your community. Complete your details on the form and return it to us. Additionally, if you are a
taxpayer, simply filling in the Gift Aid Form enables the charity to
reclaim the tax paid (currently 28p for every £1 donated).
