David Cameron Visits PACT Children's Centre PDF Print E-mail
ImageRt Hon David Cameron, MP joined families using Witney Children's Centre for tea and cake on the afternoon of Friday 10 October and wrote to us: "I know that the centre does great work in helping families with young children.....improving life chances and closing the achievement gap....and I thought that it was such a bright and friendly place.  Keep up the good work!"

The purpose of the visit was to celebrate the work of the expanded Centre and see how it meets local people's needs.  Director of Housing and Community work at Parents And Children Together, which runs the Centre for Oxfordshire County Council, Barry Wildsmith, said: "David Cameron heard at first hand how PACT staff make a real difference to Witney's wellbeing: supporting families, building people's confidence, developing their skills and aspirations and helping them move forward."
