 So what qualities do we look for?
Obviously, you need to be able to care for children responsibly and in a safe, happy environment. To meet their needs, you need the time, enthusiasm and energy - not to mention a well developed sense of humour and plenty of patience. Because of their background and experience, the task of caring for them is likely to be particularly demanding. This generally makes caring for them all the more satisfying. It also helps enormously to be part of a supportive network of family and friends who can provide practical and emotional support. Remember, you will be able to count on excellent support from the PACT professionals, on an ongoing basis. |
