Heather Giles is a registered
Art Therapist with The Health Professions Council (www.hpc-uk.org). In a new partnership with
PACT she works with the charity to provide support through consultation and art
therapy services.
 How does this service work
? This
service gives children and young people the opportunity to communicate through pencils, paint, clay etc. thoughts
and feelings which are too hard, or too frightening, to talk about.
They are then able to work with the Art Therapist to build on their understanding
of themselves and others, and to develop better ways of expressing their needs.
No creative skills are needed to benefit from this service. Primarily for children
aged 10 years and above this service is open to PACT’s foster carers and
adopters only. If you would like an appointment talk to your social worker or contact the duty social worker for further information. |
