Didcot Children's Centre offers a wide range of services to all families in Didcot and the surrounding areas. Services available for families to access include Drop-in sessions where parents/carers can share activities together such as messy play, cooking, and music and movement Also during these times parents/carers have the opportunity to seek advice and support on an individual basis or through group discussions.
A Family Support Worker is attached to the centre and carries out in depth work with local families in their own homes.
The Centre runs a Young Mums Group, a Working Mums Network and a monthly Saturdads session for all Dads and male carers.
In partnership with other agencies the Family Centre provides parenting courses and adult education courses. Also a Baby café, offering support and advice on early feeding issues, a Young and Pregnant support group for teenagers and a Babysitters Support Network.
There is a training room which is available to hire.
