In Buckinghamshire, South Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes and Bracknell we offer
resettlement services to homeless families under the Government’s
Supporting People initiative where we work closely with local Housing
Associations.
The primary aims of the housing related support given by
our team of Family Support Workers is to enable families to access
their correct benefit entitlement, ensuring they have the correct
skills to maintain a tenancy, advising on home improvements or
maintenance and integrating the family individuals into the local
community.
In Bracknell we have our only accommodation based project with a 7
bedroomed purpose built hostel for teenage mothers. Referrals for
residency are submitted via Bracknell Forest Borough Council and we
regularly have a waiting list for this unit.
