The SUSiE
group is a self help group lead by experienced foster carers. Meeting every 6
weeks the group consists of Long Term Foster Carers who have been approved, or
are currently being assessed, by PACT.
This is an
opportunity to get together, share experiences and develop knowledge and
skills. A senior social worker from PACT also attends and training is provided.
Previous topics have included;
- The inner World of the child
- Holiday tales and tips and
- Child Protection procedures.
