PACT Adoption in 2018

92 UK children were placed with 66 families

81 adoption orders were made with 53 families 

63 couples or single people were approved to adopt

Of these, 13 couples or single people have black, mixed or minority ethnic heritage

Of 92 children who were placed, 56 are boys and 36 are girls

Of these, 51 children are in sibling groups, children are over five years old, and 28 children have black, mixed or minority ethnic heritage

78 families received therapy from our Family and Children Therapeutic Support (FACTS) service

74 PACT families attended family fun days to meet and share experiences with other adoptive families

Community Projects in 2018 

Alana House, PACT's award-winning community project for vulnerable women, supported 225 women in 2018 through groups, courses, drop-ins and one-to-one support

PACT's Bounce Back 4 Kids (BB4K) and Recovery Toolkit programmes supported 21 children and 17 adults affected by domestic abuse during 2018
