PACT runs information events and drop-in sessions for couples or individuals interested in adoption.
Information events are led by a PACT social worker and will include a talk from someone who has adopted through PACT. You may want to download a PACT guide to adoption before attending. Booking is essential for these events, and full information about the location will be given when you book on. If you would like to attend an information event, please contact PACT’s Enquiries team by calling 0300 456 4800 where they will be able to assist you with your query. Lines are open 10am-5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am-8pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 10am-1pm on Saturday.
If you plan to 'drop in' at one of our drop-in sessions, there is no need to book and you will see the latest drop-in session below. Drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to talk informally to one of PACT's adopter champions and the PACT adoption staff on hand to answer any questions. You'll be able to sit and read helpful and applicable literature and watch PACT’s adoption videos. You'll also be able to find out more about PACT families that have adopted themselves. If there are a number of issues you would like to discuss you may want to book a one-to-one with a PACT social worker. To book a 30min or hour long slot please contact PACT’s enquiries team on 0300 456 4800 or email email@example.com (please note a one-to-one is only available at drop-in sessions).
Our Q&A events give the opportunity to ask questions about adoption to a diverse panel of adopters over light refreshments. You will also be able to find out more about the adoption process.
