Domestic Adoption
The children we need adopted homes for will be placed by the local authority. These children are likely to be over 2 and a half years old, they may need a placement with their brothers and sisters, they may have physical or learning disabilities and will come from a range of ethnic backgrounds.
We are looking for a range of adopters including those from black and minority ethnic backgrounds. You need to have some experience of children outside your family, able to think about, and work with, therapeutic parenting techniques and be able to take a full year’s adoption leave from work.
