Buddying and Support Groups

We will be able to link you up with an adopter who can offer you ‘buddying’ support once you have received an application form or at any time during the adoption process.

There are a range of support groups available through Oxon, Bucks and Berks. Some are set up by adopters and meet informally in different areas and others comprise families who attended the same preparation workshops. There is also a more formal group of adopters that meet every month in Reading.

Many local authorities run their own support groups that you are welcome to join.
