The Rewards of becoming a Foster Carer

“Seeing my foster child move on from the anxious, angry child who arrived with us late one afternoon, to the confident, self assured young woman who lives with us now provides me with the greatest reward I could imagine.”

Support

In order to manage the demands and difficulties that can arise when fostering, we have put together a range of services to support you.  We have a team of experienced therapists who have knowledge of the needs of foster carers.  They can see you alone or as a whole family.

Our services include:

  • The Fostering and Adoption Consultation and Therapy service – staffed by a team of two workers (family therapists and educational psychologists)
  • Child Psychologist
  • Play therapist
  • Life Story Worker
  • Theraplay Counsellor
  • Homeopath
