Our Fostering Statement

At PACT we will work to ensure that looked after children will receive the best experiences in life, from excellent parenting and education to a wide range of opportunities to develop their talents and skills, in order to have an enjoyable childhood and successful adult life.

We will acknowledge the central importance of the child’s relationship with their foster carer and the work of the wider team around the child will be undertaken in a way that strengthens and supports the role of the foster carer/s.

We will ensure that opportunities for training and development are available in order for foster carers to develop themselves in their role as foster carers and provide the best care for the child.

We pride ourselves in the range of excellent support services available for both the looked after children and our foster carers.
