Housing/Community
The ultimate aim of all of our family work is to increase the quality and life chances of children ensuring they are safe from harm and have every opportunity to thrive. In doing such we know that ‘family’ is a broad term encompassing more than the biological parents. Through providing a range of services, activities and support groups we are able to reach single parents, married and co-habiting parents, families on low income and professional parents with little time, older siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, carers, foster carers, adoptive parents as well as other agencies who also play a role in the childs life.
We have experience of service delivery for families from all backgrounds including homeless families as well as those affected by domestic violence.

We believe that we must reach into the community to where the families are and not expect all families to have the ability, desire or confidence to come to the building we prefer. Through the use of outreach work and our access to a variety of well placed community facilities through our Diocesan connections, we are able to reach some of the most isolated and vulnerable families.
