Are you the relative of someone who was adopted ?

If so, we hope this part of our website will provide you with information and advice on issues that are important to you.

  • You may want to trace your child, or a relative of yours that was placed for adoption.
  • You may want to find out about the kinds of support that are available to you.
  • You may have already been traced by an adopted relative and want advice on how to deal with this.
  • You may want to talk about the effects of adoption on you and your family.
  • You may just want to read some interesting articles, book reviews or true-life stories.
Please note "Birth Relative" can include anyone who is related to the adopted person (e.g. mother, sister, half-brother etc) and also includes people who are related by marriage.
