Pact has recently expanded on the successful work we have undertaken in our Black Families Long Term Foster Carers Service and are now building on this to recruit all families able to offer permanent homes to older children.

Our Permanent Fostering Service has been developed primarily for children aged 8 and above. These children will need to remain with their family until they are grown up and ready to live independently.

Foster Carers come in all ages and from all backgrounds.
This range of life experiences helps to meet the diverse needs of looked after children.  

We need carers who can be proactive in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children in order that they can reach their full potential.
