Berinsfield Children's Centre is one of PACT's smallest centres but bursts with fun, learning and activity. It has undergone many changes in the last few months with a fresh new redecoration, new toys and equipment and remodeling of the outside area which have all gone towards improving the popularity of the Centre. The facelift will continue with changes to the training room which will allow better facilitation of courses for parents and the community.
The centre now boasts a fantastic sensory room, imaginatively created to improve the children's senses and co-ordination.
Themed Play
The centre's Drop-Ins are structured around weekly themes which vary from celebrating Easter to Indian folk stories. All of the themes are explored by the children and their parents through play, food, arts and song while the friendly staff are on hand for advice and support.
Messy play is a big part of the week and offers the children a great opportunity to explore their senses which helps develop social, creative and communication skills. It's great for parents to as they don't have it all over their wallpaper!

Grandparent's Group
As from Wednesday 20 January 2010 we will be open 1-3pm every Wednesday with a new drop-in aimed at grandparents who take care of their grandchildren and need somewhere to meet other people in the same situation, to swop ideas, discuss problems or even learn new skills.
We are also looking to learn from your own skills, eg gardening, cooking, crafts and share this with our younger parents. Come along, relax in our safe environment and have a cup of tea with us and take advantage of the activities available for the children. This service is free of charge and you can drop-in as you wish - there is no need to sign up in advance we just look forward to meeting you.
