Contact Centres

PACT operates a Supported Contact Centre in  Didcot. These provide a safe place for non resident parents to spend time with their children. The centres are staffed by volunteers and enable hand over between parents, a place to play and a supportive environment.

A recent venture is the setting up of a dispersed Supervised Contact Centre. This will provide a service to enable children to meet with adults in their family who might otherwise be prohibited from seeing them.

It will be available across the Thames Valley at suitable venues by appointment. It will include the provision of a trained supervisor who will take a written record of the contact visit and remain with the child/ren at all times.

The provision is aimed at providing a service to private law clients rather than those involved in public law proceedings.
