PACT Parents House exists to provide support and advice in a residential setting that will enable young women to gain the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding required to establish and maintain a successful home for both themselves and their children.
PACT Parents house provides 6 bed-sits and has a self contained flat that is used in the final period of a residents support programme towards independent living.
PACT Parents House is for:
Young women between 16—24 years (exceptions may be negotiated) who need support and
• Are expecting a baby or have a young child and
• Are homeless or threatened with homelessness and
• Who live in the district of Bracknell Forest Borough Council
The period of stay for a young woman at PACT Parents House will vary depending on the extent of the support required but can be for up to two years.
Connexions
Connexions Services provide information/advice/guidance (IAG) including careers guidance and support to all young people aged 13 to 19 (up to the age of 25 with learning difficulties/disabilities) particularly vulnerable young people.
Connexions Services aim to remove barriers to learning and progression, and to ensure that young people make a smooth transition to adulthood and working life.
Connexions Services are designed to help all young people with particular focus on those who are or are at risk of not being in education, employment or training (NEET) or those not in learning after the statutory school leaving age.
