Social workers

PACT is always looking for great social workers to join our outstanding team.

PACT is proud to have received an outstanding rating with Ofsted for the last two inspections and we’re going for the hat-trick! We are a thriving organisation and always open to hear from great prospective employees with passion, commitment to supporting families and a drive for excellence to help us to continue to develop our service.

We are always looking for good quality social workers/senior social workers to join us in either our London (Pimlico), Reading or Brighton adoption teams, and we would love to hear about your experience working with children and families.

"I had been working for a local authority for almost 10 years and felt it was time for a change. I liked the idea of working in a team that solely focussed on adoption. I had also heard so many good things about PACT and I’m so pleased I did make the change. I have found PACT a very family friendly and flexible in its approach and it’s made a big difference to my work/life balance.  My colleagues and manager have been very supportive and I have been offered a great training opportunity to further my professional development." PACT Social Worker

You will be part of a committed and passionate team focussing on adopter recruitment, preparation and assessment, placement and post-placement support. You will succeed in this role if you are an experienced children and families social worker, well-organised, supportive and a great team player.

Besides a comprehensive benefits package PACT staff also repeatedly cite the culture at PACT as positive and forward-focused, warm, supportive, friendly and professional.

The salary for a social worker is in the range of £28,034 - £34,262 FTE and £32,347 - £39,534 FTE for senior social workers (plus inner London weighting of £3,299 per annum for London based roles). We would be more than happy to discuss hours around our roles.

We look forward to hearing from you.
