PACT Adoption Charity in 2018-19

85 UK children were placed with 62 forever families.

98 adoption orders were made and 82 applications were received from prospective adopters.

54 couples or single people were approved to adopt.

39 Adoption Information Events were held.

487 adopters (from PACT and other organisations) made use of The Adopter Hub, and the Hub's webinars were viewed 1,056 times.

80 families came to a PACT Family Fun Day to meet and share experiences with other adoptive families.

101 families were referred for therapy from our Family and Children Therapeutic Support (FACTS) service.

88 families were supported by our Strenthening Families team of therapeutically-trained social workers.

33 adoption and parenting training courses were held.

Community Projects in 2018-9

Alana House, Reading, PACT's award-winning community project for vulnerable women, supported 191 women in 2018-19 through groups, courses, drop-ins and one-to-one support. Alana House ran 147 drop-in sessions, 177 one-to-one counselling sessions and helped 30 women through the Enrich Programme, a support project for women with complex needs who have frequent contact with the police and want to make positive changes in their lives.

In 2018-19, PACT's Bounce Back 4 Kids (BB4K) and Recovery Toolkit programmes supported 21 children and young people and 16 adults affected by domestic abuse.
