Activity Days

The PACT Adoption Support team organises events for children to come and play, learn and socialise with other adoptive families in a fun, safe environment.

Kathy's Crafty Café 

We are holding a craft session for children and parents to work together on a craft activity and meet and chat with other adoptive families. Tea and coffee will be provided and you will be able to take home what you make. You can download a flyer for the event here.

Animal activity days

The photos above were taken at a recent Animal Activity Day; we will be holding more events like this in October 2020 (details below). They are an opportunity for children to see, hold and learn about creepy crawlies to increase confidence, self-esteem and positive social interactions with other children in a nurturing and structured environment.

Disability Living Alowance workshops

PACT will be running a series of workshops to help parents complete a Disability Living Allowance application. The DLA is available to all adopters. There will be a stay and play area for young children while parents have the opportunity to book a timeslot to speak to an expert. These events are first come first serve, so please email emily.thomas@pactcharity.org to book. For more information, you can download a flyer here.

Steering Group for adopted young people

PACT would like to meet with young people who have been adopted to find out how they feel about adoption and what adoption means to them.

'Pizza and Pitch' event for 8-12 year-olds

Children's Guides
