PACT Adopter Champions are organising a series of ImPACT Days for PACT adoptive families. These events aim to provide an invaluable opportunity for adopted children and their families to get together and take part in some fun, engaging activities.
We often hear from adoptive children how they really enjoy knowing there are others in the same situation as them, and days like this should provide them with the chance to meet, chat and make friends with other children who they will have much in common with.
The events will include team building projects and games, kid’s yoga, drama and art workshops and much more, all on a theme linked to adoption-related issues. There will also be opportunities for parents to take part in mindfulness sessions and to chat to other adoptive families and our Adopter Champions over refreshments.
The dates for the 2018 ImPACT events are:
- London - Saturday 22nd September from 1-4pm at Albemarle Primary School (SW19 6JP)
Dates for Reading and Brighton adopters are being arranged – more details will be added here when this is confirmed.
Child places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first basis. Parents will be asked to make a contribution of £5 per child which will enable us to continue to provide these invaluable opportunities for our families. To find out more or to book a place please email Adopter Champion Karen Willbridge.
