Support for adoptees
Please note: all scheduled face-to-face support events will no longer take place for the foreseeable, due to government advice on social distancing. Those already booked onto events will be contacted by a member of the PACT team.
We are working to move some of our events online and we will share details of these when we have them.
We support children and young people who have been adopted through PACT in every way we can. We hold fun activity days, provide therapeutic support and have a dedicated Special Education Worker to provide education support.
We also run events and create resources specifically for adoptees. You can find out more about these below.
We have created several adoption support guides designed to help the children that we place with our adoptive families. There are two guides, one for younger children and one for older children, and they are free to download.
We are running an event for 8-12 year olds to give them a chance to meet other adopted children and spend time together while they make their own pizzas.
These events are a chance for children to build up their confidence by interacting with creepy crawlies and spending time with other adopted children.
