PACT works closely with other agencies and local authorities who run events and provide specialist support for adopters. In addition to the range of support provided by PACT, you may be eligible to access the following support depending on where you live.
Adoption Support from Parenting Special Children
Parenting Special Children is an organisation that provides specialist support for Berkshire families who have children and young people with special needs. They run webinars and groups for children who have additional needs. Adoption Support for London Adopters
Two regional adoption agencies (RAAs) have been given funding from the Government’s Adoption Support Fund to provide additional support to adopters during the Covid-19 pandemic. This support is also available to adopters in their area who adopted from other agencies including PACT until the end of September. The support on offer includes webinars, mindfulness sessions, workshops and other resources. Adopters from the following boroughs can access support from Adopt London RAA:
Barking & Dagenham, Barnet, Brent, Camden, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Haringey, Havering, Hounslow, Islington, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Richmond, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets and Wandsworth.
Adopters from the following local authority areas can access support provided by Coram:
Harrow, Hillingdon, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Bromley, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, City of London, Slough Children’s Trust.
