Maurice

Maurice is a smiley, happy four-year-old boy.

He has lots of energy and likes to keep busy with activities like swimming, playing with his toy cars and riding his bike. Maurice loves to go to nursery and his activity group, he has some close friends and he likes to chat, although his language skills are still developing.

His favourite TV show is Peppa Pig and he likes to listen to bedtime stories and have cuddles with his foster carer. He has had the same foster carer for two years and they have a close and affectionate relationship.

Maurice had antenatal exposure to drugs and a difficult start in life and as a result, his development is delayed in all areas by approximately two years. Despite this he is making good progress and, after being held back a year, will be starting mainstream primary school in September.

Maurice is looking for a forever family who are comfortable with his needs and have lots of energy and attention to give him. He will receive a comprehensive health assessment to identify his current and future support needs and will receive therapeutic support tailored to the needs identified in the assessment, as well as ongoing support for Maurice and his adoptive family provided by PACT.

If you think you could adopt Maurice, please get in touch with our friendly Enquiries Team on 0300 456 4800 or email enquiries@pactcharity.org.
