COVID-19 Crisis Appeal
During these challenging and uncertain times, PACT is committed to continuing its support for children, families and vulnerable women. Following the government advice, PACT has temporarily closed its offices in Reading, London and Brighton; however, the vulnerable children, women and families we support through our community projects need us more than ever.
We are reaching out because we need your help.
The strict isolation measures we are all currently living with deeply affect the vulnerable children and women that we support through our community projects Alana House and Bounce Back 4 Kids. In these challenging times, we need to adapt and extend our Alana House services to meet the needs of those most at risk, such as those experiencing homelessness or unstable accommodation; those struggling with mental health, particularly self-harm and suicidal thoughts; and those who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse as they may be trapped with their abuser.
Those who have fled domestic abuse are equally vulnerable as they may be away from family and previous support networks, feeling isolated and alone, and struggling with the trauma caused by past abuse. We need your help to provide additional one-to-one and group support to these parents and children through our Bounce Back 4 Kids programme and to offer opportunities to virtually come together, talk to each other and build positive connections. We do not have the IT infrastructure we need to deliver these services so your help is vital.
Help us to be there for them.

What your donation buys
To give you an idea of how your donations can support vulnerable children, women and families, here are some examples of what your donation can buy:
£10 could pay for a pay-as-you-go phone to allow a woman living in poverty to be able to access telephone support from her Alana House Support Worker
£20 could pay for a woman affected by past domestic abuse to join a virtual Bounce Back 4 Kids group session to help her support herself and her children
£30 could pay for a one-to-one video call with a trained Alana House Support Worker to help a woman struggling with suicidal thoughts process her emotions
