Chelsea Grant, social work placement student

Chelsea worked at PACT during her university student placement year from October 2020 until May 2021. She is training to become a qualified social worker and chose to volunteer in PACT’s London adoption team.

During her time at PACT, Chelsea was a fantastic support to the team. She worked with a number of prospective adopters who were undergoing assessments and supported families once children had been placed. Chelsea also helped run our adopter preparation training course and became a very valued member of PACT’s Equality and Diversity monthly focus group.

Chelsea said: “My placement at PACT has provided me with tremendous social work experience. It has been lovely getting to know everyone and has been a pleasure to work for PACT. I appreciate all the support and guidance everyone has given me whilst on placement, thank you!”

Thank you Chelsea for all your hard work: you are a PACT superstar!
