Jason and Jen became involved in supporting PACT in 2018 when Jen ran a series of fitness classes for our Alana House women’s community project. Jen works as a fitness instructor and volunteered her time to lead sessions with the women as part of the Love Me, Love Life programme to help participants improve their physical health.
As well as volunteering, the couple have supported PACT financially. Jen took part in PACT’s Move Every Day in May (formerly Marathon in May) fundraising challenge in 2018 to raise money for our work and, in 2020, she supported the challenge again by providing a series of exercise videos to share with participants.
Jason supported our work by nominating PACT for a grant from the St James Place Foundation. Our application was successful and we received a valuable two-year grant for our adoption support services. Most recently, Jen and Jason showed their support by attending our Open Garden fundraiser for Alana House in July which raised more than £5,000.
Jen and Jason said: “We have really enjoyed supporting both PACT and Alana House, albeit in very different ways over recent years, from raising funds through the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation to helping vulnerable women build their self-esteem, confidence and learn life skills. The journey has been very rewarding, and we look forward to providing our support in the future.”
Thank you both for your support over the years: you are PACT superstars!
