Stephanie has supported PACT as a trustee and as leaf trustee for our adoption services since 2016, giving her time and expertise to help govern our organisation.
In September 2020, Stephanie signed up to take part in PACT’s STEPtember challenge in aid of Alana House, our women’s community project. The STEPtember challenge involves choosing a step target for the month of September and asking for sponsorship to try and reach that target.
Stephanie set herself the challenge of taking 400,000 steps in September (around 200 miles) and asked her friends and family for support, setting a fundraising target of £1,500.
She said about Alana House: “I have been privileged to meet, talk to and get to know women who have surmounted incredible difficulties and found ways of living more satisfying lives. If my effort this September helps raise enough money to cover the cost of supporting even one woman it will be worth it.”
By the end of the month, Stephanie had not only smashed her step target by taking 451,182 steps but had raised £3,060 for Alana House!
Thank you Stephanie for your amazing effort and your fantastic fundraising success. You are a PACT superstar!
