First year of family life (Day 2 - virtual catch up session)

PACT’s Strengthening Families Team’s exciting workshop aims to support families through the ups and downs of early placement.

This in-person event will be both interactive and practical. It will also be a valuable opportunity for you to spend time with other parents who are at a similar stage in their adoption journey.

The day will include;

• Thinking about what your child has brought to the family
• The parenting rollercoaster
• Therapeutic parenting and boundaries
• Dealing with challenging issues

There will also be a facilitated virtual catch up two weeks later to enable you to maintain the links that you have made.
