You can adopt

If you are thinking about adopting a child, or would like to know more information about adoption, PACT is here to help!

PACT is an independent adoption agency rated as outstanding by Ofsted in 2014 , 2017 and 2023.

We recruit, prepare, approve and support adoptive parents for children in care who are waiting for adoption, and place them with their permanent family. In 2022-23, we found secure and loving homes for 63 children.

Why choose PACT?

Adopters can choose to adopt through their local authority, a regional adoption agency, or a voluntary adoption agency like PACT. Watch this video to meet some members of our team and hear about how PACT can support you on your adoption journey.

We welcome enquiries from people across southern and central England. We have teams located in Reading, Oxford, London, Milton Keynes, Brighton and Devon (see our location map).

So if you live in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Devon, Dorset, East Sussex, Essex, Gloucestershire, Greater London, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, South Warwickshire, Somerset, Surrey, West Sussex or Wiltshire please do contact us to take the first steps to adoption!

We especially welcome enquiries from people who can consider adopting children who typically wait longer to be adopted. These are sibling groups of two or more children, children of Black, mixed or minority ethnic heritage, children with additional needs or uncertainty and children aged four or over.

Right now there are children waiting for adoption. We need prospective adopters who, with our specialist package of adoption support, can become parents to a child (or children) who needs a loving and secure family.
