Children waiting to be adopted

Some children wait longer on average to find a family. PACT is looking for people who would consider becoming adoptive parents for these priority children.

We need people of all ages and backgrounds to provide loving, permanent families for children waiting in care. Prospective adopters will need to demonstrate considerable professional or voluntary experience with children or be prepared to start this before embarking on the adoption process.

Last year, 32% of the children we placed in loving families were aged 5 or older, 63% were in sibling groups and 29% were of Black, Asian, mixed or minority ethnicities.
