London family fun day at Battersea Children’s Zoo

Dear PACT family,

You are invited to attend this year’s PACT Family Fun Day! Our fun days are a free day for PACT adopters and children to enjoy activities, share experiences, catch up with friends and meet other families. PACT staff will also be there to join in the fun!

The London based event will be held on Saturday 19th September from 12pm to 2pm and will be held at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo, Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ.

Join us for a fun and memorable day at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo, where children and families can get closer to animals, nature, and adventure in the heart of London. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other PACT families, build friendships and enjoy time together in a relaxed setting.

You’re very welcome to enjoy Battersea Children’s Zoo from 10am, when the park opens. If you prefer you can arrive later and join us from 12pm-2pm in the cabin. You can then stay until the it closes at 5pm.

Parking
There are three council-run Pay and Display car parks within Battersea Park. The closest car park to the zoo is Chelsea Gate car park. Further information can be found here on Battersea Children’s Zoo website here.

Play at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo
The zoo boasts an impressive adventure playground, ideal for children of all ages and abilities to learn, discover and play. Imaginations will run wild in the great outdoors whilst exploring the real- life tractor, fire engine and helicopter as well as the giant climbing web and sensory sandpit.

Lunch
Please note that lunch will be not provided. The Zoo’s Café will be open during the event, serving refreshments and light bites for families to enjoy together. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy during the event.

There is limited indoor space at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo, but as always with a British day, please bring wet weather clothes and/or water and sun protection.

Capacity is limited so we can only offer families space at one event. Places are offered on a first come first served basis. Please RSVP by Friday 11th September at the latest, to secure your place.

Although this event is free for PACT families, please be aware that if you no longer require any, or all, of your tickets, it is important that you cancel them at your earliest convenience, as PACT does incur a cost for each place.

Important booking information
Please enter your PACT office and social worker on your booking form. You only need to enter this once. You will also need to select, ‘enter details of previous registrant’ for each child on your booking to avoid entering the names of your childre/ren.
