Managing aggression in children

Day 1

The course is aimed at adopters who are struggling with aggressive behaviours, and it is planned to cover the following:

The day will include:

  • Strategies to manage aggression
  • Triggers and how to respond
  • De-escalation techniques
  • Looking after yourself
  • Developing support networks

Day 2

The second day will be to review how strategies have worked and talk further about support networks – building on the relationships hopefully developed doing this course.
