Parents And Children Together (PACT) is once again inviting the local community to don their elf hats and join them for a joyful festive afternoon of fun at Reading’s iconic Reading Minster.
The event will take place on Saturday 6th December, with refreshments and Christmas activities from 3pm and the main event from 4pm–5.30pm.
This year’s elf-themed carol concert promises family-friendly music, performances and reflections to celebrate and raise funds for PACT’s life-changing work with children, families, women and the wider community.
This year’s exciting line-up of local performers includes singer songwriter Nichole Grace, talented 16-year-old composer and pianist Nolan Chenchery, Take Note Community Choir, Katesgrove Primary School Choir, Reading Rep Theatre’s Young Company and elf compere extraordinaire, Ben Stone.
Children (and adults!) are encouraged to dress up as elves or wear festive accessories and join in the fun. All proceeds go directly to PACT’s work supporting those affected by trauma through its adoption services, Alana House project and Bounce Back 4 Kids programme.
Tickets cost £12 for adults and £3 for children. A £16 family ticket can be purchased for one adult and two children or a £26 ticket for two adults and two children. Tickets can be booked at www.pactcharity.org/carols2025.
Bookings close at midnight on Friday 5th December. After that, tickets will be available on the door.
PACT Chief Executive Natausha van Vliet said: “The Carols at the Minster event is a heartwarming way to kick off the festive season. As well as an important fundraising event for PACT, it’s a chance for our community to come together, celebrate and support the vital work PACT does every day. We’re so grateful to the Minster team, performers, staff, volunteers and everyone who joins us to make this event so special.”
