Two of our wonderful supporters have chosen a very special way to mark an important family celebration this year. As they prepare to celebrate their ruby wedding anniversary with loved ones, they have decided to ask for donations to PACT instead of receiving gifts.
They shared why they chose to support PACT in this way:
“We are really looking forward to celebrating our ruby wedding with our family and friends in April and instead of gifts, we have requested donations to support the work of PACT, an organisation which is close to both of our hearts.
PACT provides exceptional support to adoptive families and their children, many of whom have experienced severe trauma and abuse in their early lives.
PACT’s award‑winning work with women and families through the justice system has also gained recognition from the Ministry of Justice and is widely regarded as outstanding in this field.
We are looking forward to sharing our happiness by supporting the work of PACT on this special occasion.”
We are so grateful for this thoughtful and generous gesture. Celebration giving is a meaningful way to mark life’s milestones while supporting PACT’s work building and strengthening adoptive families, and empowering women, children and parents to embrace a positive future.
If you have a birthday, wedding, anniversary or special event coming up, could you consider asking for donations in lieu of gifts? Please click here to find out more about how you can support PACT through celebration giving, or email Julie at julie.maclean@pactcharity.org for further support.
