This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Adoption of Children Act 1926. PACT’s CEO Natausha van Vliet and Service Director Lorna Hunt were delighted to join colleagues from across the adoption section at a Parliamentary Reception to mark this special occasion.
đź’¬ Natausha said: “I was delighted to be invited to attend the Parliamentary Reception marking 100 years since the passing of the Adoption of Children Act 1926 with our Service Director for adoption Lorna Hunt on Monday evening. It was a good opportunity to connect with so many colleagues from across the adoption sector and reflect on how far things have come for children and also to consider how much more needs to be done for adopted children and their families so that they have the chance to flourish. Thank you to Dame Carol Homden and her team at Coram for the invitation and for arranging such a special event.”
