Ciara

Ciara, aged 31, is an SEN teacher from Exeter and was adopted as a child.

Ciara said: “I am running the London Marathon 2025 for PACT because I was adopted at the age of five, and I have experienced first-hand the incredible, life-changing impact that adoption can have.”

Ciara was recently in a car accident but still plans to take part. She said: “Despite this setback, I’m more determined than ever to cross that finish line. It will be tougher now, but that only reinforces my motivation. Life for a child in care is full of challenges, and if my fundraising can help create a better future for them, that thought will carry me through every step of the race.”

Ciara really looks forward to experiencing the London Marathon. She said: “I’m most looking forward to the incredible atmosphere and the energy of being surrounded by thousands of people, all pushing themselves to complete this challenge for causes that matter deeply to them. It’s inspiring to be part of such a powerful collective effort, and I can’t wait to experience the sense of achievement on the day.”

“If I can push through this to raise awareness and funds, I hope you’ll join me by making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in a child’s life.”
