Chat virtually to a FACTS therapist about how your family is getting on and discuss any concerns you may have, in a relaxed and informal setting.

Baljit, our FACTS therapist is highly experienced in adoption work and has a background in psychotherapy, social work, training and groupwork and is also trained in Theraplay and DDP.

To book your private 50-minute session, email adoptionsupport@pactcharity.org and you will be sent the full details and joining link.

Support group for PACT adoptive mothers.

This group, led by PACT’s Adoption Support Team, offers mums and mums-to-be the chance to meet together online to talk through challenges, ask questions and share support, encouragement and advice.

A link will be provided to attend online via Microsoft Teams (full details will be sent after booking).

Please note: these sessions are only available to approved PACT adopters (with or without children placed), and those in Stage 2 of the adoption assessment process with PACT who have completed a DBS check.

*Mothers of 11 year-old children, please attend the session that matches your child’s school setting – primary or secondary

Support your child’s identity and wellbeing through meaningful connections with birth family and significant others.

This online workshop will cover:

• Why relationships matter in adoption
• Legal and research context
• Ways to stay in touch: face-to-face, digital, postal
• Supporting sibling contact
• Trauma-informed approaches
• Minimising risks and planning safe contact

Starting in September 2026, our Milton Keynes adoption team will be running monthly stay and play sessions.

These sessions will be for PACT families to drop in for a play, meet and chat with other PACT families, and have a coffee.

Join us on the first Tuesday of every month in Milton Keynes.

This group, led by PACT adoption staff with lived experience, offers LGBTQ+ adopters the chance to meet together virtually, to talk through challenges, ask questions, and share support, encouragement and advice. The group is for parents and parents-to-be.

This virtual catch up will enable you to maintain the links that you have made during Day 1.

Thinking about becoming a parent through adoption? PACT’s new London drop-in sessions offer a friendly place to start.

These free in-person sessions give prospective adopters the choice to ask questions and explore adoption with no pressure or obligation to begin the process.

You will meet members of PACT’s adoption team and learn information about:

– Who can adopt

– The adoption assessment process

– The children waiting for adoptive families

– The support available before, during and after adoption
