Baljit, our FACTS therapist is highly experienced in adoption work and has a background in psychotherapy, social work, training and groupwork and is also trained in Theraplay and DDP.

This free online information event is a chance to hear from Lara, one of PACT’s adoption team managers and an adopter who will share their personal experiences of their adoption journey with PACT. 

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the process, with no obligation to take the next step.

Join us at our monthly online support group for Black and mixed heritage adopters. Celebrate identity, culture and community, while offering support and understanding.

This group is a safe, empowering space to share experiences, build connections and navigate the unique joys and challenges of adoption.

Thinking about becoming a parent through adoption? PACT’s new London drop-in sessions offer a friendly place to start.

These free in-person sessions give prospective adopters the choice to ask questions and explore adoption with no pressure or obligation to begin the process.

You will meet members of PACT’s adoption team and learn information about:

– Who can adopt

– The adoption assessment process

– The children waiting for adoptive families

– The support available before, during and after adoption

• You will then be able to choose a time slot for a half hour informal, no-obligation chat with our social work manager.

This course is designed for prospective and approved adopters to better understand what early permanence entails so that they can make an informed decision as to whether it is an option they wish to consider.

Training will include information about the process, legalities and family time, the chance to hear from an early permanence adopted and time to ask any questions you may have.

Our online bite-sized learning workshops are designed to be light, brief and down to earth. They are perfect for parents who are time-short but who want tips, reassurance, and a chance to share experiences. Come along, join us and let’s figure it out together.
