The Rock Project Portsmouth, Fareham and Waterlooville has been chosen as October’s Supporter of the Month. The Rock Project is the UK’s leading school of contemporary music, offering children and young people the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, and vocals in a structured, supportive environment and they have been doing a fantastic job raising money for PACT. So far, they have raised nearly £900 through performances and concerts and we still have a few months left as their Charity of the Year!
Sam Fry, who is the proprietor of The Rock Project Portsmouth, Fareham and Waterlooville, told us: “The Rock Project has chosen PACT as our Charity of the Year for 2026 in recognition of the incredible work they do to support children and families through adoption and fostering. Following one of our team members recently adopting their child, we wanted to give something back by supporting an adoption charity that makes such a positive difference to the lives of children and families.
“We are also inspired by PACT’s commitment to finding loving homes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, a cause that is especially close to our hearts. We are proud to support an organisation that has such a meaningful and lasting impact on so many lives!”
We would like to say a big thank you to Sam and all the rock stars at The Rock Project!
Could you be a fundraising matchmaker?
Love is at the heart of the work PACT does, and fundraising thrives on personal connections and the love of PACT’s supporters.
Can you act as matchmaker and introduce us to the people and organisations you know who could support us with raising £1.7 million this year?
Please share the love and get in touch with Sarah: sarah.hacker@pactcharity.org to learn more.
