BH&O Legal, Corporate supporter

Boardman Hawkins & Osborne LLP is a niche family practice established in 2018 by Emily Boardman, Ruth Hawkins and Irena Osborne. Their ethos is based in a strong commitment to supporting individuals in some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives. They are experts in Children and Family law and support and advise several bodies and organisations working with children including PACT.

Co-founder Ruth Hawkins said, “Emily, Irena and I have had long term links with PACT and Alana House and the great work they do for families and vulnerable women. Although BH&O has only been in business since September 2018, historically, the three of us have supported the charity in all sorts of ways, and it was important to us that when we started BH&O that link continued.”

In the past, BH&O have taken part in various forms of fundraising for PACT, including sponsored runs, cake sales, Christmas Jumper Day fundraisers and PACT’s annual carol concert.

Ruth said, “One of my favourite memories was being asked a few years ago to do a reading at the carol service. But our links and support go beyond merely raising money for the charity. In the past we have provided legal clinics for the women using Alana House, and helped in other practical ways – for instance by providing Easter Eggs for the Alana House service users and Bounce Back 4 Kids children. We now provide pro bono advice and guidance when needed to Alana House service users and support workers.

“The last two years have been a very difficult time for families and charities that help them and with the cost of living increases, that is only going to get worse. We are keen to continue our support of PACT and have just made a small donation from the firm, to try and assist. We look forward to thinking of new ways of helping, supporting and promoting the work that PACT do in the future.”

Thank you to everyone at BH&O Legal for supporting us and for caring about the work that we do with children, women, and families; you are PACT superstars!
