St Mary and All Saints school

St Mary and All Saints is a primary school in Reading, and a member of The White Horse Federation. The school has a Church of England foundation, and they are proud of the ethos that pervades everything they do. This can be seen in the value they place on personal relationships, the importance they give to good manners, respect for the opinions and beliefs of others, and celebration of diversity.

St Mary and All Saints school took part in our Marathon in May challenge. Marathon in May is a physical challenge inviting participants to complete 26.2 miles in one month by running, walking, cycling or wheeling the distance, either individually or as part of a team. A total of 300 pupils from 11 classes across the year groups took part in the activity, raising a brilliant £278.75. The Sparrow class raised the most, reaching a total of £70 and receiving the PACT Charity Champion trophy!

The amazing efforts of St Mary and All Saints and the many other Marathon in May participants helped us raise a total amount of £3,098 for the people PACT supports.

Charley Hill, a teacher at St Mary and All Saints, said:

“We chose to support PACT because we want to raise money to help children find loving families. We all thoroughly enjoyed Marathon in May as it allowed us to get outside whilst raising awareness and money for the charity. We can’t wait to participate again.”

We want to send a huge thank you to all the children and staff who took part in our Marathon in May 2022. You are all PACT superstars!
