Hampshire adopters needed
You can adopt
If you are from Hampshire and thinking about becoming a parent through adoption, or would like to know more information about adoption, PACT is here to help!
PACT is an independent adoption agency rated as outstanding by Ofsted in 2014 and 2017. We recruit, prepare, approve and support adoptive parents for children in care who are waiting for adoption, and place them with their permanent family.
In 2021, we found secure and loving homes for 65 children.
We are actively seeking enquiries from people living in and around Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Farnborough, Fleet, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Odiham, Alton, Gosport, Fareham, Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester.
PACT is looking for people of all ages, backgrounds, sexualities and ethnicities who would consider becoming adoptive parents for the children who wait the longest for adoption. These include:
- Single children aged three years old or older
- Brothers and sisters of all ages who need to stay together
- Black and mixed ethnicity children
- Children with additional needs or disabilities
We are sure you will have lots of questions about whether you are suitable or what the adoption process involves. We’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions but you can also contact our friendly adoption enquiries team using this form or by calling 0300 456 4800. Lines are open 10am-5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am-8pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 10am-1pm on Saturday.
Right now there are children waiting for adoption. We need prospective adopters who, with our specialist package of adoption support, can become parents to a child (or children) who needs a loving and secure family.
“To anyone considering adoption I’d say ‘Do it! Jump all over it!’ Its the best thing we’ve ever done!”
Hannah, PACT adopter
