Why adopt with PACT?

Thank you for taking the first steps towards adoption. We have made this short film to give you an insight into adopting with PACT.

PACT is an independent adoption charity, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2017 and 2017, with a long history of providing adoption services and award-winning adoption support.

Last year, in 2017, PACT placed 82 children with their forever families. 

We offer adoption services to couples and single people who live within a 50 mile radius of one of our three offices in Reading, Brighton and London.. Building, supporting  and strengthening families

PACT adopters can be couples or single people, of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. Find out who can adopt with our  FAQs. We also need adopters prepared to 'Foster to Adopt'.  Find out more about PACT's Fostering for Adoption scheme.

The more experience you have of being around children before you apply the more ahead you will be.  Parenting can be challenging but if you choose to adopt through PACT, we will be here to support you every step of the way. 

PACT offers a vast programme of adoption support services including 

PACT runs events through the year where adopters can meet other PACT families. The most popular of these are Family Fun Days, held in Brighton, London and Berkshire.

Out-of-Hours support

PACT's out-of-hours phone line is available for PACT adoptive families 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. If you need PACT’s advice or support urgently and outside of normal office hours please call 07787 834871. Please note though that this number is for emergencies and not for general enquiries.
