St Mark’s Englefield

St Mark’s is a beautiful and welcoming church, set in the Englefield Estate, and has long been a supporter of PACT and the work we do supporting children, women and families.

We were delighted when the congregation of St Mark’s selected us as one of their Christmas charities. Our community fundraiser Sarah went along to their advent service on Sunday 10th December and shared with the congregation what we do in helping people recover from trauma and abuse. She had a very warm welcome and was asked lots of great questions after the service.

In January, we were overwhelmed by a donation of £1,000 to support our life-changing programmes such as adoption support, Alana House and Bounce Back 4 Kids. This donation from St Mark’s was also contributed to by Englefield CE Primary School, a small, loving and inclusive primary school, just outside of Reading.

A representative from St Mark’s said: “We are keen to support PACT because we see how they offer vital, local, practical, psycho-social and emotional support to women and families in need. There is a great need for such services.”

We would like to thank the congregation and ministry team of St Mark’s for their incredible ongoing support. They are truly wonderful.
