We are celebrating one person, family or group each month that has gone above and beyond to support PACT’s work. From running a marathon to giving up their time to volunteer at PACT, each ‘supporter of the month’ pictured here has used their time, energy and resources to help us continue the work that we do.
Readiophonics
Readiophonics is an award-winning acapella group based in Reading. When they performed at PACT’s Christmas Carol Concert in December 2023, members of Readiophonics were inspired by the life changing work we do and made us their charity for their Big Gig in March.

Maxine, PACT supporter
Maxine lives in Milford on Sea in Hampshire. Until 2016 she was a school principal adviser in West Berkshire District Council and as part of her role, she was the Virtual School Head where she led the team responsible for promoting education for children in care, and previously looked after children.
John Pierce’s Memorial Fund

Javairia is a baker who runs her own local business in Reading, Sweetie Bakes. She has been volunteering for Alana House for three years to support the women who use our services.
